For those of you who haven’t been following us on social media, we’ve been in Bangkok for the past 2-and-a-half months participating in an accelerator program called D-Next.

The program is led by PTT Digital (a subsidiary of the PTT Group) and RISE. Along with us are 14 other startups in industries such as workforce management, energy management, cybersecurity, data management and analytics, and more.

D-Next pioneering batch.

Suffice to say we are a diverse group. It’s been a great pleasure learning from and growing with everyone involved!

D-Next has allowed us the opportunity to penetrate the Thai market.

At Startup Thailand, we manned a booth at the #IndustryTech section. We were able to showcase our technology to interested parties and build relationships with potential collaborators.

The event was packed with people from all over the world – in fact, we spotted some familiar faces!

Bonjour! Monsieur Benjamin Carlu, Co-Founder of Usine IO dropped by to say hello. (We’re currently participating in FOCUS – an accelerator program they are hosting in Paris, France).
Our Marketing Director Enzo got to meet & take a selfie with Michael from Leave a Nest in person (we had previously joined an online pitching competition they hosted)!

Having been given access to RISE and PTT Digital’s resources, we connected with key players in the market and were guided on how to maneuver through the business landscape in the country.

As mentioned in a previous post, we took a trip to Suphan Buri province to apply our solution to PTTEP‘s facility. Later on, we also went to EnCo – another PTT subsidiary – to take measurements on their chillers (more on that in a future post).

We could go on and on about everything that’s been going on here in Bangkok. We’ve generated leads, built relationships, and made many memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Ultimately, our journey culminated in D-Next Demo Day held in the PTT Auditorium on the 2nd Floor of PTT’s Head Office.
