The company joined InnoVEX’s pitching competition and is the only Filipino company out of eight companies from the US, China and Taiwan to make it to the finals, where it won a Special Prize worth $10,000 from Delta Electronics Inc. and another $60,000 Special Prize and one-year incubation stay in Taiwan from Start-up Terrace, a Taiwanese start-up incubator.

At Rockstart we met with a few interested parties, one of whom invited us over to their facility. They had a number of industrial motors in need of preventive maintenance. It was right up our alley!
OneWatt believes that the future of energy is not just about renewable energy and storage, but also the efficient use of energy. This vision resonated with Shell and picked OneWatt as one of the 20 finalists in their New Energy Challenge. The program kicked off last September 24, where teams from all over EU and Israel gathered in Amsterdam to share their unique startups and technologies.
Last Oct 3-5, OneWatt, together with 49 other startups from all over Europe, was chosen to participate in the European Utility Week in RAI Amsterdam as part of it’s Initiate! program.

OneWatt was one of the presentors in the second Ecosummit Amsterdam took place on 4 July 2017 at Pakhuis de Zwijger, Piet Heinkade 179, 1019 HC Amsterdam, The Netherlands, which presented the best smart green startups from the Netherlands to our European Ecosummit crowd. The agenda features 62 speakersincluding 53 startups. A highlight was SET Ventures’ investment in Greencom Networks.
Rockstart, the world’s greatest startup machine, has chosen OneWatt as one of the cohorts for their Smart Energy Program. The program chose 9 startups from all over the world—from Australia to Uganda, and of course the Philippines —that provide services and solutions for a digital, decentralized, and decarbonized energy system.
